Chloe's 7th Birthday Party

I'm FINALLY posting pix from Chloe's party!  We did a Pinkalicious Party based on the beloved book.  This year I decided to do EVERYTHING myself---I baked and decorated the cupcakes, made the banners, posters, decorative poms, arranged pink and red roses from my garden and filled existing apothecary jars with all kinds of pink treats!  We had pink whoppers, zingers, pink marshmellows, pink laffy taffy, licorice, pink wafer cookies, frosted sugar cookies and strawberry candies to fill the treat bags.  I ordered some cute candy bar wrappers off Etsy to put in treat bags too.  It was a fun night and everything turned out great!  I think it will be a memorable party for our sweet little Birthday Girl.

My Sister....the Chief Operating Officer!!!!!

We are sooooo very proud of Melissa this week!!!!!  She is the new Chief Operating Officer and Acting President of Linde Healthcare in St. Louis!  Pretty impressive for a 35 year old right?

Dad and I are so proud of her.  I told her that it must be a sunny day in St. Louis because I know my Mom is just beaming rays of pride for her daughter from Heaven! (And guess what?  It was sunny in St. Louis yesterday when she got the news.)
